About Lifespan Services Chairman and CEO, Dr. David L. Holmes

Dr. David L. Holmes is Board Certified in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Administrative Psychology, and Forensic Psychology. He is a licensed School Administrator, School Principal, Supervisor of Education, and Teacher of the Disabled. He is the immediate past President and Founder of the Eden Family of Services with lifespan services in Princeton, NJ, Naples, Fla., and Chaplin, Ct.

He is the longest standing Chair of the Autism Society of America’s Panel of Professional Advisors. He has been a visiting lecturer or has served on the faculties of Princeton University, Rutgers University, California State University at Long Beach, The College of New Jersey, Jersey City State University, Hamilton College, The University of Connecticut, Eastern Connecticut State University, and Gulf Coast University (Fla.).

His leadership has extended to Chairman of numerous local, state and national organizations including; The Center for Non-Profit Corporations, The National Association of Private Schools for Exceptional Children, The National Commission on Accreditation of Special Education Services, The Association of Schools and Agencies Serving the Disabled, The Princeton Corridor Rotary Club and The Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce. In addition to his role as Founder and President of the Eden Institute Foundation, he has served as Chairman of the Princeton Corridor Rotary Foundation and currently serves as Chairman of the Free Enterprise Foundation in Princeton. Dr. Holmes has served on many advisory boards at the state and federal levels.

He is a consultant to numerous public and private agencies and is a highly sought after speaker at national and international conferences. He has been a featured guest on National Public Radio’s Talk of the Nation and CNN’s House Call with Dr. V.J. Gupta. Dr. Holmes is a national award winning author of numerous books, book chapters, and articles, most notably; Autism through the Lifespan: The Eden Model. 

Now, as Chairman and CEO of Lifespan Services, LLC, Dr. Holmes is heading a full service consulting company bringing decades of experience and nationally recognized consultants to help families, individuals with autism and related disabilities, as well as, schools and agencies at the local, state and federal level, to get what they need and are entitled to have.
